Rental Skid Steer Loaders
Skid steer loaders are designed to operate in a variety of roles and environments, and are among the most common machinery found on construction or demolition project sites.
Skid steer loaders are lightweight and extremely maneuverable. They can be fitted either with wheels or tracks and are capable of zero-radius turning, thanks to each side’s independent drive wheels. The wheeled versions typically operate in four-wheel drive, and their small, tough construction makes them invaluable tools for a variety of applications that require heavy work in tight spaces.
Skid steer loaders differ from conventional front loaders in both size and construction. A skid steer loader’s lift arms are fastened to the machine’s body on either side of the vehicle’s operator cab. Because of this design, the operator’s cab is fully enclosed to ensure the safety of the driver.
Lift arms can handle an array of attachments, depending on a project’s specific needs. Like other front loaders, skid steer loaders can carry material in a bucket, or push material with a blade attachment.
Relatively lightweight and compact in size, skid steer loaders can be easily loaded and transported.
