LIFE-SAVING RULE CONTROL MEASURES:

All employees engaged in electrical work must read and sign the electrical affirmation document.

It is prohibited to carry out any maintenance work on electrical parts of any generator before the generator is fully disconnected and isolated and electrical energy has been fully discharged from the generator(s) bus-bar.

Apply Lockout, Tagout and Tryout (LOTO2) procedure and training to prevent the accidental supply of power and start-up while carrying out maintenance work.

All supervisors and employees must wear full protective clothing, appropriately rated electrical gloves and full body arc flash protection suits to operate any switchgear or live electrical panels.

 Carrying out maintenance work on live equipment, switchgears, transformers, or circuit breakers without wearing the appropriate protective gear is a violation in our guidelines.
