For a safe operation read and fully understand the Operation and Maintenance Manual before operation. Appropriate machine safety starts with a pre-operation walkaround before each shift. The best practice is to report any broken or non-working parts.

Follow the safety tips below for safety.

• When raising the bucket, watch out for overhead wires and obstacles. Know where underground wires and utilities are buried before digging. Never ride or carry anyone in the bucket of the machine.
• Mount and dismount the machine only at locations that have steps and/or handholds. Always use three points of contact. Ensure that your seatbelt is buckled. Always stay seated while operating the machine.
• Never overload the bucket. Learn and understand the load limits listed in the Operation & Maintenance Manual.
• Never drive along a ditch or excavation too closely due to potential collapse. Be careful to avoid any ground condition which could cause the machine to tip. Tipping can occur when working on hills, banks, or slopes and when crossing ditches, ridges, or other unexpected obstructions.
• Never dig underneath the excavator when working on a bench or berm. Carry the load low to maintain stability and visibility. However, make sure the load is high enough to avoid contact with the ground.
