In 1945, the Taylor family founded and acquired Ohio Machinery Co.  Initially headquartered in Columbus; Ohio Machinery Co. provided Caterpillar products throughout Ohio. In 1946, the company was incorporated, and the headquarters were relocated to Cleveland. Today, more than 75 years later, Ohio Cat continues to be family owned and operated and the current President, Ken Taylor, is actively involved in day-to-day operations.

Ohio Cat is an authorized Caterpillar dealer, one of approximately 50 Cat Dealers nationwide.
